The evening begins with a typical Italian dinner offered in a characteristic restaurant and accompanied with music by folkloric singers. At the end of the dinner we start a real pleasant panoramic illuminated tour of Rome passing by some of the most famous and important monuments of the city: Castel S.Angelo, initially commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum for himself and his family and then later used by the popes as a fortress and castle – San Peter’s Square with the famous Colonnade by Bernini and San Peter’s Basilica – Piazza Venezia with the imposing “Vittoriano” monument – Arch of Constantine – Coliseum, the symbol of Rome’s majesty – Circus Maximus, the first and largest chariot racing stadium in ancient Rome – Theatre of Marcello, Jewish quarter – Tiber Island. During this fascinating tour our guide will take you to visit Trevi Fountain, the most famous fountain of Rome, celebrated in the movie “La Dolce Vita” by Federico Fellini and Piazza Navona, the baroque square famous for the Fountain of the Four Rivers, Bernini’s masterpiece, now a cosmopolitan meeting place. Return to the vicinity of your hotel.
